From the 12th – 19th September 2026
Kos (Greece)
The blue, the adventure, the remoteness, and the unique relaxed character of the Greek culture, really sparked a passion in us from our very first time we sailed in this part of the world. There’s nothing like the silence of cutting the engine and feeling our floating temple traverse the waters with ease.
After a long break since 2017 we are really excited to be returning to these beautiful islands again to share this journey with you.
Sailing through Greece is an experience that can bring us in close connection with the present moment.
We can easily feel that the beauty and tranquility gives a sense of freedom from wanting anything more.
This is part of the magic, with our chanting, voice activation, and the sense of adventure giving us a break from our daily lives to recalibrate our compass and remember our authentic selves, to receive inspiration and have a great time together, sailing this beautiful island paradise.
Imagine..
You’re on a beautiful and spacious Catamaran, with the warm afternoon Sun on your face, the cool breeze in your hair and the gentle sounds of the boat gliding through the water.
This turquoise blue Mediterranean sea is our world for a whole week, providing a refuge where we can truly feel supported to just be.
We approach a little bay with a small local Village, unchanged for decades, our captain knows the island well, with two decades of experience in these waters, he will guide us to his favourite Taverna for our evening meal, there’s maybe three or four of them, all competing to give the best local Greek cuisine experience.
Afterwards we take an evening walk through the village with it’s cute little paths, all painted white, with bougainvillea’s candy coating brilliant colours, it feels like we’re a world away.
Your days are filled with sailing, swimming, and diving off the boat at sunrise, with occasional adventures on land to explore hidden gems like monasteries, ruins, or hot springs. We gather for music in small chapels or on the beach, and spontaneous singing often arises as we sail. Each morning begins with chanting and gentle voice-opening meditations, setting the tone for the day.
All in all, as you tuck into your comfy cabin at night and are gently rocked to sleep, you thank yourself for taking this opportunity to be fully alive.
There’s nothing like it.
We’re so happy to be offering this to you.
The trip will start on Saturday, 12th of September 2026, at 1.00 pm. We’ll meet at the Marina of Kos island to share lunch together, and then head to the boat around 5.00 pm
We will be departing the Island of Kos in the Dodecanese Island archipelago and spending the next weeks exploring some truly wonderful bays, harbours and “secret” spots.
Our sailing adventure can unfold in two possible directions — north or south from Kos. Both routes offer breathtaking landscapes, hidden bays, and charming villages to discover along the way.
The exact itinerary will depend on the wind and sea conditions, so we will remain flexible and decide together as we go. This way, the journey can flow naturally with the elements, allowing us to embrace the adventure and make the most of what each day brings.
The sailing retreat will end on Saturday, 19th September 2026 at 9.00 am, returning back to Kos marina (we will stay the previous night already in the harbor of Kos).
We will be using a modern sailing catamaran with all the comforts with a capacity of total 12 people. You will sleep on board every night. Some nights we will spend in quaint harbours while others will be in deserted bays.
This is a great way to travel around the area. The island are relativley close, leaving more time for on land exploration, swimming, eating and soaking up the Greek sun. Your skipper Damon Mitchel has been sailing in this area for 20 years and knows these islands intimately.
We will be singing spontaneously on the boat every day as well as other spaces (flute meditations in the churches for example) and Kevin will be sharing his morning sessions of AUMs and toning through the chakras.
Each day we’ll share breakfast and lunch prepared on the boat, and in the evenings we’ll gather to enjoy the charm and flavors of a greek local taverna.
We will be sailing the Greek islands aboard a spacious Lagoon 50 catamaran. Designed for both comfort and adventure, this beautiful vessel will be our floating home throughout the retreat.
The Lagoon 50 comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, offering a mix of shared cabins and single cabins, depending on your preference and availability. Bathrooms are shared among participants.
Wide decks are perfect for singing or simply gazing at the horizon, while the open lounge spaces create the ideal setting for meals, music, and connection.
Equipped with solar panels, the catamaran makes use of clean energy to support our journey at sea. There are also power outlets in the cabins and shared spaces, so you can charge your phone or other small devices when needed. A small dinghy (tender boat) is available to take us to shore whenever we anchor near the islands.
Stable, elegant, and welcoming, this catamaran is not just a boat—it’s a moving sanctuary that will carry us gently from island to island, surrounded by the beauty of the Aegean.

Damon Mitchel (our skipper)
Damon Mitchel has been sailing in the Greek Islands for 20 years and knows these areas intimately.
With Damon as our captain, we not only navigate the waters safely, but also discover the most magical, untouched places that few tourists ever see.
His presence brings a sense of trust, calm, and adventure to the journey — the perfect guide for a week at sea.
And in addition, he has been practicing a form of Ashtanga yoga for over a decade and anyone who wishes is welcome to join his practice during the trip.
“The way of the heart isn’t just a title for a retreat, it is exactly what it is all about. A deep journey of self-reconnection with the heart and of sharing it with others’ hearts. In chanting circles profound feelings arise, singing together helps to release and let go, be it with tears or with untainted dancing, and when you experience such joyful freedom, you can only feel gratitude to be alive and to live a moment worth a lifetime, bowing down to feel the way of the heart.”
Ilaria Scarso ( The Way of the Heart 2024)
“Kevin and Susanna have a unique way of leading retreats, putting everyone at ease, letting everyone express themselves in the most spontaneous and natural way. The result is a wonderful, joyful experience that generates a high level of energy and allows one to fill up with ‘good vibes’ to express in daily life.”
Axelle Dalmazzone (The Way of the Heart 2022)
“The retreats with Kevin and Susana are always filled with light, love and laughter. This combination makes it so deep going. We dive deep into the divine, opening our hearts but always with a fine sense of humor. In this week I felt so deep connected with myself, with nature and divine and with the group as never before. My trust in life was strengthend and the way of my heart showed up clearly.
And beside all the deep going experiences it also was fun singing and dancing playfully and lively. Thanks to Kevin and Susana for this fantastic retreat.”
Tina Elay (The way of the Heart 2022)
“I just returned from the 6-day retreat and feel deeply nourished by the profound journey you took us on. You have the gift of creating such a deep and powerful sacred space, in which we all could dive into the vastness of our own being and bring forward radiant pearls.
I have been working with soundhealing for over 25 years and am deeply moved by the power of your work. Simple, direct, highly transformative and above all, pure medicine for the heart and soul. My deepest gratitude!”
Roel Crabbe (The Way of the Heart 2021)
Since I started offering chanting retreats in 2012, every year, at each retreat, I’ve seen a profound positive transformation occur in each person which has inspired me to refine and define these retreats to support this in every way and every year, it just gets better.
As you may have experienced, Mantra music has a healing force that helps you connect with your heart, gain mental clarity and raise your vibration. Once you feel that connection, you can heal and release whatever you need, and as a consequence, feel more inner peace and harmony in your life.
